The End It Movement

{s l a v e r y}

Would you ever think that slavery still happens today? At this very moment?  Of course not, you would think. Slavery happened two hundred years ago, and the United States need slavery with Abraham Lincoln and the Emancipation Proclamation during the Civil War.

But here's where you are wrong.

Slavery Still exists. To This very day. Here in the United States and all over the world. What kind of slavery do ask? Well sex trafficking and forced labor are two types of slavery that happen all over the world. Even in the United States. Many People are smuggled in and out of the United States and forced into slavery. It's not just people from outside the United States, but also people inside the United States. Currently, over 27 Million People are held into hostage and bounded into slavery. Men. Women. Children. It makes no difference.

Now Where does the End It Movement Come in?

Today, 27 of February 2015,  is a day where many people have taken the stance to get a red marker and draw a RED X on their hand. Well, What does that signify? Putting a Red X your hand won't do anything some may argue. But by drawing a red x on your hand, it will raise awareness to this cause. People will ask why you have an X on your hand and it will signify that you are against slavery of this world and that we, as a generation, want to change that.

Another way that you can help, would be to donate to the cause to help free people. Slaves. Get the people out of hostage and give them the live that they deserve to see. The Life that they Once saw.
To donate to the End It Movement, you can do so here

"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." - John 10:10 (NIV)

Are you willing to be apart of a generation that wants to end slavery for good?

Winter Jam 2015

On 7 February 2015, Winter Jam Came to the Georgia Dome.

Winter Jam is a Christian Concert and basically you pay ten dollars last the door to see ten bands play. the bands that we saw were for King & Country, Building 429, Jeremy Camp, Skillet, Family Force 5, Francesca Battistelli, Newsong, About a Mile, Blanca and Veridia.

This was my first ever Winter Jam concert and I was really excited to be able to attend in 2015.
I've seen most of these artists in concert before but It was nice to see them again live. I know I have seen Building 429, Family Force 5, Francesca Battistelli, Jeremy Camp, &
  for King & Country.

Because it was at the Georgia Dome, the food there was expensive. Just to get a bag of cotton candy was five dollars and a bottle of water was four dollars. It was ridiculous but it was a great way for the Georgia Dome to make some money and boy did they sure did. I felt like we were at a sports game because concessions people were walking around trying to sell food to the consumers. Although I understand that these people need to make money, screaming popcorn while someone is praying on stage is quite rude and when Francesca was singing "Holy Spirit", when we took a moment to breathe, all we could hear was concessions people trying to sell things. It was quite an experience.

The only complaint that I had was that meeting the artists turned into a mob because the only allowed for us to meet them at the end of the entire show; not the end of when they played. It was really poor planning on their part but security was only allowing Luke from for King  & Country (pictured above) to either sign  an autograph or take a picture with us.

Well I was holding a Winter Jam shirt and the security lady took it out of my hands for him to sign, I was like no I just want  picture. Luke was really sweet and kind to us and it was really neat to talk to him even though, security was pushing us away.

Overall I had a wonderful time and even though I'm not a huge fan of Skillet (partly because I'm not a huge fan of the genre that they play), every band did a wonderful job and I can't wait to go back again.... Hopefully 2016! :)
